Eight-time German Ice Hockey Champion Duesseldorfer EG is playing it's home games at ISS Dome.
MoreIt started very small: In 2017 singer Sabine Hausner and her husband Rainer Schreiner set up a keyboard and a cajon (a Peruvian drum box) on the Christmas market in Duesseldorf. Then they just started singing. At first only a handful of people stopped. "We were maybe 20 singers," says Hausner. Up to 700 people are now coming to sing Christmas carols together. There are several dates during the Dusseldorf Christmas market, admission is free. Singing takes place under the roofed area of the Kö-Bogen market. There are handouts with the lyrics, from "Silent Night" and "Leise rieselt der Schnee" to "We wish you a merry Christmas" and "Feliz Navidad" everything is there. Just sing along and have fun.
