Duesseldorfs highest and most famous sightseeing spot. There is a Happy Hour. When? Click "more".
MoreAcrobats show breathtaking stunts, clowns entertain the audience, there is dancing, singing, magic - all very close to the visitors. The Roncalli's Apollo Varieté is kind of the little brother of the circus. You can order drinks during the show and if you want, you can even have something to eat at the table during the break. The program is changing several times a year and has a motto. At our shoot, Viva Argentina was the theme: Fiery Tango, wild acrobatics - in short: the passion of South America.
The Apollo - as we locals usually just call it - is located directly on riverbanks of the Rhine below Rheinkniebrücke. From there it is only a few steps to the State Parliament and in the Media Harbour. Towards the north, you’ll find the Rheinuferpromenade with the Old Town, Burgplatz and at the end the Fortunabüdchen, Tonhalle and Kunstpalast.
