What makes the Open Source Festival so special? There is not one reason - the location is perhaps one of the most outstanding. The Horse Race Course in Duesseldorf Grafenberg is an incredibly beautiful place to celebrate. Far away from traffic, in the middle of fresh air, with a lot of green, high above Duesseldorf. Three stages around a food court, with small artistic oases. The music is just as special: electronic pop music. Driving, experimental, surprising, sweaty - in short: good. The artists: new, experienced, established and unknown, the mix makes it - many come from Duesseldorf. The team: maker with heart. The artistic director Philipp Maiburg is a Duesseldorf fighter for the subculture, for the music scene, for rehearsal rooms, for space to try out.The Open Source Festival is an absolute must for anyone who happens to be in Duesseldorf that day
