Aquazoo

The Aquazoo in Duesseldorf is a mix of a zoo and a natural history museum. Ideal for a bad weather day or an excursion with children. The aquariums and terrariums are designed in such a way that the kids can easily see everything. You can also touch and try a lot.

Around 560 species of animals live on an area of 6,800 square metres. In the 25 themed showrooms, 80 aquariums with a total volume of 700,000 litres of water can be seen. In addition to a tropical hall, there are 60 terrariums and insectariums and 1,400 collection objects, models and interactive media.

It's very crowded on weekends. If you have to go on saturday or sunday, you should print your tickets online. Then you're allowed to walk past the queue.
