Blue Band

For about two weeks, there is this natural spectacle to see. Depending on the weather conditions, from the end of February or the beginning of March, millions of crocuses bloom in the Rheinpark and the Hofgarten of Duesseldorf. They were sponsored by Pro Düsseldorf, a non-profit city beautification organization.

Especially for photographers and nature lovers it is worth a visit. Best shots you'll get in the evenings, when the sun dips the plants in warm and soft light. The area is public, no enty fee.
